Ik dali sone di laike gehne kayi banwa layiye; Mundari chhapaan haar te kante marzi de gharhwa layiye. With one piece of gold, we may get several ornaments made; We may get manufactured rings, necklaces, ear rings, as we like. In case we get the rings and necklaces etc. melted; It will again become gold as before, and we may give it any number of forms (once again). Likewise, man has put up countenance of a Hindu, a Muslim, a Sikh and so on. Avtar says, essentially a human being, he has created unnecessary wrangles. |
Meaning
If we have a piece of gold, we may get several ornaments made out of it.
We may get made rings, necklaces, ear rings, as per our choice.
Again we can get a piece of gold if we melt these rings and necklaces etc.
Cycle of gold getting into ornaments and vice versa can take place multiple times. In the same way man has put up appearance of a Hindu, a Muslim, and a Sikh and so on. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says that human being getting himself divided into caste, colour, creed etc. created unavoidable arguments.
